Warum wir?

Als Legal Engineer (m/w/d) gestaltest du die Zukunft juristischer Arbeit bei Noxtua. Du übersetzt komplexe rechtliche Anforderungen in KI-basierte Lösungen und entwickelst Proof-of-Concepts, die zeigen, wie juristische Recherche, Vertragsgestaltung und -prüfung, Antrags- und Verwaltungsverfahren sowie weitere juristische Prozesse automatisiert und optimiert werden können.
Du entwickelst Anforderungskataloge und strukturierte Prompts, die die Grundlage unseres Legal AI-Workspaces bilden. Darüber hinaus konzipierst du juristische Benchmarks, baust Testsets auf, validierst KI-Ergebnisse und stellst die kontinuierliche Qualitätssicherung sicher. Du arbeitest eng mit unseren AI-Expert:innen zusammen und führst interne und externe Workshops zum Einsatz von Legal AI durch.

DEIN TEAM

Das Legal Team von Noxtua besteht derzeit aus mehreren Volljurist:innen, wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeitenden und Legal Engineers. Gemeinsam verbinden wir juristische Exzellenz mit tiefem Verständnis für Legal Tech und KI. Durch unsere interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit dem AI- und Produktteam entwickeln wir praxisnahe, rechtskonforme und innovative Lösungen für Kanzleien, Unternehmen und den öffentlichen Sektor.
Wir arbeiten agil, kollaborativ und mit hoher fachlicher Tiefe – und gestalten europäische Legal AI aktiv mit.

Deine Aufgaben

Übersetzung juristischer Anforderungen in KI-kompatible Prompts, Templates und Workflows
Juristische Recherche und Analyse neuer Rechtsgebiete sowie Entwicklung von Use Cases und Proof-of-Concepts
Erstellung und Umsetzung von Anforderungskatalogen zur strukturierten Dokumentenintegration
Entwicklung juristischer Benchmarks, Aufbau von Testsets und Validierung von KI-Ergebnissen
Durchführung und Begleitung von QA-Prozessen zur Sicherstellung fachlicher Qualität
Zusammenarbeit mit Product, Tech und AI bei der Entwicklung neuer Legal-AI-Funktionen
Durchführung von Schulungen und Workshops (z. B. Prompting, Legal AI Best Practices) für interne Teams und ggf. Mandanten

Dein Profil

Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Erstes und/oder Zweites Staatsexamen (alternativ LL.M. oder Promotion)
Erste Erfahrung im Bereich Legal Tech oder Legal AI, idealerweise mit Bezug zu KI, Coding oder interdisziplinären Projekten
Fähigkeit, sich schnell und sicher in neue Rechtsgebiete einzuarbeiten
Starkes Interesse an Legal Tech, Legal AI und digitaler Transformation
Teamfähigkeit, Engagement und Freude an komplexen juristischen Themen
Strukturierte, eigenständige Arbeitsweise und sicheres Auftreten im Umgang mit internen und externen Stakeholdern
Optional: Grundverständnis in Python oder erste Programmiererfahrung
Vorteilhaft: Erfahrung mit Software- oder KI-Entwicklung (beruflich oder privat)
Wohnsitz innerhalb der EU
Sehr gute deutsche Sprachkenntnisse und sehr gute englisch Sprachkenntnisse

Our offer for you

As a Legal Engineer (m/f/d), you'll shape the future of legal work at Noxtua. You translate complex legal requirements into AI-based solutions and develop proof-of-concepts that demonstrate how legal research, contract drafting and review, application and administrative procedures, as well as other legal processes can be automated and optimized.
You develop requirement catalogs and structured prompts that form the foundation of our Legal AI workspace. Additionally, you design legal benchmarks, build test sets, validate AI outputs, and ensure continuous quality assurance. You work closely with our AI experts and conduct internal and external workshops on the use of Legal AI.

YOUR TEAM

Noxtua's Legal Team currently consists of several fully qualified lawyers, research associates, and Legal Engineers. Together, we combine legal excellence with deep understanding of Legal Tech and AI. Through our interdisciplinary collaboration with the AI and Product teams, we develop practical, legally compliant, and innovative solutions for law firms, companies, and the public sector. We work in an agile, collaborative manner with high technical depth – and actively shape European Legal AI.

Your responsibilities

Translating legal requirements into AI-compatible prompts, templates, and workflows
Legal research and analysis of new areas of law, as well as development of use cases and proof-of-concepts
Creation and implementation of requirement catalogs for structured document integration
Development of legal benchmarks, building test sets, and validation of AI outputs
Conducting and supporting QA processes to ensure professional quality
Collaboration with Product, Tech, and AI in developing new Legal AI features
Conducting training sessions and workshops (e.g., prompting, Legal AI best practices) for internal teams and potentially clients

About you

Successfully completed First and/or Second State Examination (alternatively LL.M. or doctorate)
Initial experience in Legal Tech or Legal AI, ideally with connection to AI, coding, or interdisciplinary projects
Ability to quickly and confidently familiarize yourself with new areas of law
Strong interest in Legal Tech, Legal AI, and digital transformation
Team player, committed, and passionate about complex legal topics
Structured, independent working style and confident interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Optional: Basic understanding of Python or initial programming experience
Advantageous: Experience with software or AI development (professional or personal)
Residence within the EU
Very good German and English language skills
